US Officials Boycott Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics over “atrocities”. The boycott stems from the accusations of China’s treatment of the Uyghur Muslims.
Recently China has been accused of committing crimes against humanity and even possibly genocide against the Uyghur population and some other predominantly Muslim ethnic groups in the north-western region of Xinjiang.
