Canada is sending two TaeKwon-Do athletes to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.  As previous reported on TaeKwon-Do Times, Skylar Park (22 Years old) and Yvette Yong (31 Years old) will be representing Canada, both for the first time competing in the Olympic Games.

Yvette Yong posted to her facebook page on Friday confirming that she had been accepted into the Canada Team.

“I’ve always been proud to represent Canada internationally for competitions, as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, and now for Team Canada at the Olympic Games.” – Yvette Yong

Yvette Yong last competed in the Pan American Championships in Cancun Mexico scoring a bronze medal.

Both are currently in training waiting for the Olympic Games to begin.
