The 2019 qualification tournament for the Wuxi Grand Slam Championship begins tomorrow, April 26th and runs through the 28th of April, in Wuxi, China. The top 3 athletes in each Olympic weight category will be selected for the Wuxi 2019 World Taekwondo Grand Slam
Champions Series, which will be held from December 17-22, 2019. The World Taekwondo Grand Slam is an international taekwondo competition that unites athletes who had the best results at international competitions that year. The competition is held every year. In 2017 the organizing committee of Wuxi World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series set up 8-levels of competition prize money totaling $760,000 dollars as well as special prize money of $37,000 dollars, the best referee prize money of $3,000 dollars, for a grand total of $800,000
dollars.
