The festival is scheduleded to begin Octomber 13, 2018 at the Westgate Las Vegas & Paradise Event Center. The event schedule will be released on October 8, 2018 on www.patu.org. C olor belt sparring will be a Single elimination bracket, 2 Rounds, 1 minute each with 30 second rest period. Black
Belts – Single elimination bracket, 2 Rounds, 90 second round with 30 second rest period. All Color Belt & Black Belt Poomsae competitors will compete in 1 Round of Compulsory Poomsae of their choice based on their belt rank.
The winner of the flying side kick, board break, will be the athlete who jumps the farthest while breaking one regulation-size board within two attempts. A second attempt is given if the competitor steps on the fault line or does not break the board in the first attempt, with no penalties. Referees will act as the board holder of this event with no exceptions.Winner of the jump front kick board break will be the athlete who jumps the highest while breaking one regulation-size board. Winner of the creative board break will be the athlete who breaks the most number of boards within 2 attempts per board, with a Maximum ten (10) boards. Breaks resulted from jump turning kicks will earn higher point value than basic hand and foot breaks.
