New Updates from the Gallery San Isabel
Recently the Gallery San Isabel TKD (Taekwondo) Project participated in the Pueblo, CO Small Business Development Center (SBDC) EXPO at the Pueblo Riverwalk. This venue was an occasion for students, parents and community members to talk with us about the TKD Education project. Our booth was active and we had many inquiries from the participants. We are actively seeking opportunities to set up our TKD Education booth at community events. Please let us know if you would like to set up our poster for an event you may be hosting. Thank you Southern Colorado SBDC for conducting this successful business event!!
Also, we revisited the Pueblo West Martial Arts (PWMA) School to talk with the owner and TKD Instructor Laura Barkus. We toured the new facility that was built to conduct the increasing student TKD classes. It is beautiful! Congratulations to the Pueblo West organization! Instructor Laura has set up a corner section in the new gym to display the General Choi information and the Heaven Hand Form statuette. We will be giving a presentation about the TKD education project to the students and parents in June 2025 at the new gym. Please let us know if we can send your school the information on the project or set up an online presentation. Thank you Pueblo West Martial Arts for supporting the TKD in education project!
The Gallery San Isabel TKD Project is actively seeking school organizations that would like to initiate an extended Physical Education (PE) curriculum that introduces the basics of the martial art of Taekwondo. Please contact the Gallery San Isabel TKD Project at www.gallerysanisabel.com
